About Zamakan

Zamakan is a nomadic, non-profit platform that aims to create opportunities for artists, cultural workers and creatives from West Asia and North Africa* to pursue and develop their artistic and creative practices, and to engage in critical exchange, dialogue and learning, in order to foster creative communities.

*(We are not bound by geographical borders, but draw on a re-imagined mode of relation, one that is defined by shared and common histories, values and modes of being)
